For the store owner, we offer three very inexpensive advertising levels. Basic (free), Extra ($50 per year) and Premium ($100 per year). When you login to your store admin area you have options to keep track of. You may edit your store information and advertising. The site will keep track of how much traffic your ads generate and it keeps a detailed record of all your commission information and the revenue generated through the site.
Another feature is the ability for you, the store, to offer to post items that the wedding couple has selected from your store on their gift list. Aside from being a great customer service, this might actually cause the couple to register for more items at your store than if they had to post the items themselves. This service makes it easy for them to say "Sure, put that on the list too.", It's also easy for them to get home and decide they don't really want that one extra thing.
How To Affiliate Your Store
Affiliating your store is free. Simply fill out the short registration form at the top of this page and your store will be automatically added to our database. Wedding couples will then be able to come into your store and look for things to add to their gift registry list.
What Do I , As Store Owner, Have To Do
Simply keep track of any emails from the 'GGR' containing gift lists. When someone purchases an item from a list, just print the item CFM#(confirmation number) on the receipt. That's it.

When a wedding couple enters your store and starts looking around to create a list, they will be keeping track of the item details, description, price and if the item was on sale. Feel free to help them with the description and if your store uses a sku# or other inventory system, point this out and ask the couple to add this # in their description of each item. An accurate description will ensure that the right gift is purchased and make the process easier for all involved. Remember you can offer to add items to gift lists for customers. It is important to indicate if an item is on sale because when someone goes to purchase an item the sale might be over. All wedding couples and their guests are told that sale prices are not guaranteed and that 5% will be added to all store sale prices in order to cover registry costs.
Once a gift list has been started, you will receive an email listing all of the items from your store. This list will include the names of the wedding couple, description of the item, it's price (on sale or not), how many they want and a CFM#. Every item has it's own CFM#. When someone purchases an item from your store from a gift list, print that item CFM# on the receipt. The gift buyer then uses this # at the 'GGR' website.
How Commissions Work
A 5% commission is charged to the store on the sale of items that have been registered on our site. When items from a store are added to a gift list, that store will be sent an email with each item individual purchase confirmation number (CFM#). If a registered item is purchased the CFM# must be printed on the receipt. The purchaser then uses this number at our website to confirm the purchase of that item and remove it from the wedding couples gift list. When confirming the purchase of an item they are asked for that item CFM#, the number purchased (if more than 1) and the item price before tax. This information is then used to calculate the commission that the store owes.
Once the commission is paid on an item, if the item is returned, the store can send a copy of the receipt along with an explanation of the return to the 'GGR' via email or regular post, and receive a credit on future commissions. Each store is asked to keep an accurate sales record of registry items. If there is a problem with the calculation of commissions, the stores record will be used.
Stores can view all of the commission and purchase information in their login area of the 'GGR' website.
